So my mother has been bugging me to paint her a picture to match her spring decore. I figured I'd give it a shot today. It's by far the largest painting I've done. This sucker was 34" X 40" The camera really doesn't catch the variations and interest of this painting, nor the actual true colors. It's light, its subtle. It was a great excercise in mixing paint. And I'm pretty darn happy with the way it came out. My first non landscaper. It was actually pretty fun.
One thing I've really come to love is that my paintings take on different forms in different light, and each time you look at them, you notice something you didn't previously so it keeps things interesteing. I may decide to do another one tommorrow.
