This is my second black canvas painting, first winter scene.
I also decided to do something new in this one. I attampted to do a clear starry sky. I think my technique turned out quite well, one of the few portions of this painting I was pleased with.
Actually ended up going for 3 layers on this one.
Went for far off trees in the distance. Up close the white portion at the bottom look like distant trunks. Also a pretty cool technique.
At this point I was into it and pretty messy, so taking pictures wasn't my thing :) We skip ahead to the end. The person requesting I paint this for them didn't want much in the painting so I didn't have much to work with
This was my second attempt on a cabin, it came out ok. My snow turned out alright. I hated the closest pine trees. They just weren't workign with me. I might touch them up once it dries a little.
